Hazrat Abbas (as) was Imam Hussain's right hand and flag bearer in Karbala. He served his brother his whole life. Hazrat Abbas (as) has a different status in Islam. He is known as Babul Hawaij. Dua sent with the wasila of Hazrat Abbas has great weight. The mashq symbolizes his bravery and loyalty when he went to fill the waterbag with water for the thirsty children in Imam Hussain (as) camp. Even though, he managed to reach the River Furat, filled water in the bag, he still did not quench his own thirst, until he quenched that of the children. Subhanallah!
These handmade mashq are made with velvet fabric, glued moti, silver and gold foil tassels and a gold ribbon for hanging.
